ARTICLE V - ACTIVITIES - MEETING

a) - Activities

1 - General Assembly 2 - Executive Committee

Section 10 - Members of the Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee of the Association shall be the following.

1 - President 2 - First Vice President 3 - Second Vice President 4 - Third Vice President 5 - Fourth Vice

President 6 - General Secretary 7 - Treasurer 8 - Editor 9 - Vice Editor

a - President

The President shall be the chief executive officer of the Association. The President shall be the spokesman for the Association or all matters pertaining to the public. The President shall preside the meeting of the Executive Committee and the meetings of the Association shall appoint the delegates to cooperating organizations to represent the Association. The President shall give hand together with the Treasurer. In the absence or inability of the President to serve the Vice President shall perform his duties.

b – First Vice President

The Vice President shall perform the duties of the president in the absence or inability of the President to serve. The Vice President shall perform the duties of the president as may be assigned by the president.

c – Second Vice President

The Vice President shall perform the duties of the president in the absence or inability of the President to serve. The Vice President shall perform the duties of the president as may be assigned by the president.

d – Third Vice President

The Vice President shall perform the duties of the president in the absence or inability of the President to serve. The Vice President shall perform the duties of the president as may be assigned by the president.

e – Fourth Vice President

The Vice President shall perform the duties of the president in the absence or inability of the President to serve. The Vice President shall perform the duties of the president as may be assigned by the president.

f – General Secretary The Secretary shall be responsible for recording the actions of the Executive Committee. The secretary shall animate and coordinate the actions of the Association. The secretary shall supervise the execution of the decisions of the Executive Committee.

g - Treasurer

The treasurer shall supervise the receipt of all funds and under the direction of the Executive Committee be responsible for all disbursements of funds of the Association. The Treasurer shall make the annual report.

h - Editor

The Editor shall gave general supervising and fund authority in soliciting accepting and rejecting all material on technical subjects for publications in the Bulletin or in special publications with the approval of the Executive Committee, the Editor shall appoint, replace and reappoint such, volunteer associate editors from among the membership of the Association. The Editor shall submit an annual report of editorial activities to the Executive Committee.

i - Vice Editor

The Editor shall gave general supervising and fund authority in soliciting accepting and rejecting all material on technical subjects for publications in the Bulletin or in special 2 publications with the approval of the Executive Committee, the Editor shall appoint, replace and reappoint such, volunteer associate editors from among the membership of the Association. The Editor shall submit an annual report of editorial activities to the Executive Committee.

Section 11 - Election of officers

These officers shall be elected from among the membership of the Association by means of secret ballot. The Executive Committee is elected for four (4) years. The different l lists of members of Executive Committee are presented by the applicants to the President’s office fifteen days prior to the date of the elections. The election by correspondence is accepted. The General Assembly -after voting- may re-elect the Executive Committee for one term by the vote of the majority.

Section 12 - Meetings

A written report is submitted after each meeting it is signed by the General Secretary. The Executive Committee meets each three months upon call of the President or upon request of three of the members. ARTICLE VI - AMENDMENTS

The Executive Committee shall propose any amendments in the constitution or it might be proposed by fourth of the members of the General Assembly. Such revision will not be definitive except after the approval of the General Assembly.

Section 13- Voting by correspondence

The voting of the revision of the constitution may be made by mail ballot. These amendments will be definitive after the relative majority vote by mail ballot.

Section 14 - Proposal of Amendments

Such amendments may be proposed by the following:

a - The Executive Committee of the Association

b - A Committee appointed by the President

c - A proposal in writing signed by any fifty members of the Association.

All such resolutions or proposals must be submitted to and action must be taken during the annual meeting of the Executive Committee.

Section 15 - Legality of Amendments

The Legality of all amendments shall be determined by the Executive Committee with advice of counsel.

Section 16 - Publication of Amendments

Upon affirmation of legality as the proposed amendments, the Executive Committee shall cause them to be published in the Bulletin or by other suitable means at least two months prior to the annual meeting.

ARTICLE VII - DONATIONS AND DUES

Section 17 - Resources

The annual resources of the associations are:

- Dues paid by the members and appointed by the General Assembly as proposed by the Executive Committee.

- Subvention from the state and from the public and private establishments. - Donations. - Funds collected

from scientific meeting (seminars).

Section 18 - Dues

a) - social activities

The fiscal year shall begin on July 1st and end on June 30th next year.

b) - dues

The payment of the dues is annual; it entitles each member to receive without further charge a copy of MAPG Bulletin.

c) - Dues and Billing

The annual dues of members shall be payable in advance of the fiscal year in accordance with a schedule to be established annually by the Executive Committee. Any annual change in dues for Active Members cannot exceed twenty percent, and that this annual change is non cumulative. A statement shall be mailed to each member of the Association before July 1st of each year, stating the amount of annual dues.

d - Arrears and suspensions

Any members of whatever classifications whose dues are in arrears for more than sixty days and for less than one year; shall be suspended from membership in the Association and shall not be entitled to the privileges of membership.

e - Forfeit of membership

Any member of whatever classification who is more than one year in arrears in payment of dues shall forfeit membership in the association and the member’s name shall be removed from membership rolls.

ARTICLE VIII - DISSOLUTION OF THE ASSOCIATION

Section 19:

In the event of the dissolution of the Association, the General Assembly is called to meet especially. A majority of two thirds of the present or represented members is necessary to approve the dissolution.

In the event of the discussion of the Association, the Association shall distribute any assets remaining after the discharge of all liabilities, for charitable, scientific or educational purposes. It is recognized that, under these circumstances no member of the Association shall have any right or interest in or to the property or Assets of the Association.
